Sometimes you need a little something extra to bring your hides to the next level, whether you’re aiming for favorite points or just to hide a fun challenging cache.
This set of magnetic “rubber duck” geocaches is designed to be used as a game where you hide the full series of ducks but only one is the smiley. This can be done as a multi-stage, or a fun challenge at one location. Imagine a parking lot full of light skirt hides…park benches…or even hidden in the woods in trees and stumps (we’ve even included some roofing nails for you to use for them to cling to) where cachers are trying to find the actual cache for the win. Set your coordinates in the middle and let them go duck hunting! And while most everyone loves a challenge, we would encourage you not to spread them out too far–it’s no fun for anyone if they can’t be found at all.
Each duck is approximately 2″ x 2″ and made of vinyl. The log holder container affixed to the duck is water-proof with a screw-top lid. A strong neodymium magnet is affixed inside the lid. Your order will contain 6 ducks, one of each color, with the logs inserted. The logs will be 5 decoy logs and 1 regular log–the regular log is in the YELLOW duck. Extra regular logs are included should you decide to use the ducks as individual hides instead of the “game”.
