Make ‘Em Scream Fence Cap Cache
If the regular fence cap cache isn’t evil enough for you, here’s one that will fit the bill. Simply replace any standard fence cap with this little bugger. Then stand back and listen for them to scream like a little girl when they turn it over to get the log.
We’ve lined the 2-3/4″ standard fence cap (metal, with a brushed silver finish–photo makes them look shinier than they actually are) inside with fake spider webbing over a strong rare earth magnet. Then we’ve topped a water-proof magnetic micro with a creepy spider and let it sit on the other magnet in the webbing. When they turn the cap over they see what looks like a spider that has nested inside! Very realistic looking! To get to the log simply lift the spider micro off the cap and unscrew the lid.
The magnetic micro comes complete with log. Replacement spider micros are available in pairs if you want a few extra just in case.
